Pierre and Debra Riley have been serving God in ministry
for over 40 years. As gifted Bible scholars, they teach the
word of God in a simple and understandable way, aiming
to edify the body of Christ and prepare them for the kingdom.
They are the founders and Pastors of Word A-Live Ministry,
which was established in 2013. This teaching ministry
focuses on sharing the unadulterated word of God in its
simplicity and truth. They can be heard weekly on their
radio station, www.wvrcradiotv.org, a platform they were
blessed with from the late Bishop Ronald Norris.
In addition to their radio ministry, they take part in a number of
outreach ventures, including feeding and clothing those in need
on the streets of Philadelphia and some shelters. They also teach
at senior citizen nursing homes.
They began their ministry in the early 1990’s with a neighborhood
Bible study they conducted in their home.
Moreover, they taught Sunday school in various churches.
Pierre was ordained a Deacon at Fellowship Tabernacle Church. He served in this
capacity also at the Open-Door Baptist Church. Eventually, he became head of the
board at Lighthouse Deliverance Church. Presently, he is an ordained Minister.
Debra served as the Superintendent of Sunday and Dean of Education
In addition, she is an ordained Elder, who served as an Associate Pastor and Pastor
in the Lord house preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ
Subsequently, they both hold several scholastic degrees (Bachelor of Business
Administration and associate in electronic technology). Moreover, diplomas in
theology and various biblical training certificates. Additionally, they have written
biblical curriculums and a manual titled, “The Journey Back to God.”
Pierre and Debra have been married for over 40 years and have three children,
three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Their greatest desire is to help
God’s people gain a clearer understanding of his word as they continue on
